Healthy dog feeding guide

You probably know how much food your dog needs already, but if you’re switching to a grain free dog food for the first time, they’ll need a little less than before.

There’s more fat, protein and nutrients in every serving, so if you keep feeding them the same, they could start to put on weight.

We’ve put the following table together as a rough guide, however you know your dog best – so feel free to adjust accordingly.

Transition advice

If you are about to transition to grain free dog food you should introduce it over seven days. Mixing in 25% of the new food to begin with, and slowly increasing the levels until you have 100% grain free on the last day.

If any issues arise revert to your original dog food, and speak to the vet.
